Lafayette F1
Lafayette F1 is a hybrid zucchini variety known for its vigorous growth and high productivity. It produces dark green, cylindrical fruits that are smooth and tender.
Features
- Resistant to common squash diseases, including powdery mildew.
- Typically, 6-8 inches long when harvested.
- Bushy growth, requiring minimal space.
- Early maturing, ready for harvest in about 50 days.
Application
- Direct sow seeds outdoors after the last frost date, or start indoors and transplant.
- Prefers well-drained, fertile soil with a pH of 6.0-6.5.
- Needs regular watering, especially during dry periods.
