The fruits of Quisor F1 are typically large, uniform, and have a good balance of sweetness and acidity.

Features

  • Growth Habit: Indeterminate growth habit, meaning it continues to grow and produce fruit throughout the growing season.
  • Size: Medium to large fruits, typically weighing between 180-200 grams.
  • Shape: Round to slightly flattened.
  • Color: Bright red when fully ripe.
  • Texture: Firm and juicy with a smooth skin.
  • Maturity: Early maturing variety, with fruits ready for harvest approximately 70-75 days after transplanting.
  • Yield: High yielding, capable of producing a large number of fruits per plant.
  • Disease Resistance: Resistant to several common tomato diseases, including Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt, and Tomato Mosaic Virus.
  • Flavor: Well-balanced flavor profile with a good mix of sweetness and acidity, making it ideal for fresh consumption and processing.

Application

  • Select high-quality seeds from a reliable source.
  • Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost or sow directly in the field after the risk of frost has passed.
  • Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep in seed trays or directly in the field.
  • Transplant seedlings outdoors when they are 6-8 weeks old and have developed several true leaves. Space plants 18-24 inches apart in rows spaced 36-48 inches apart.
  • Prefers well-drained, fertile soil with a pH between 6.0 and 7.0. Incorporate compost or well-rotted manure into the soil before planting.
  • Requires full sun, receiving at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Water consistently, keeping the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged.
  • Apply a balanced fertilizer at planting and side-dress with a nitrogen-rich fertilizer during the growing season to support vigorous growth and fruit development.
  • Monitor for common pests such as aphids, tomato hornworms, and whiteflies. Use organic pesticides, row covers, and crop rotation to manage pests and diseases. Encourage beneficial insects to help control pest populations.

Storage

Store Quisor F1 tomato seeds in a cool, dry place. Use airtight containers to protect from moisture and pests. Properly stored seeds can remain viable for up to five years.
