Switch® 62.5WG is a broad-spectrum fungicide that combines two active ingredients, cyprodinil and fludioxonil, to provide effective control of various fungal diseases in crops. This water-dispersible granule (WG) formulation offers both preventative and curative action against a wide range of pathogens. It is highly effective in controlling diseases such as Botrytis, Alternaria, and other important fungal pathogens, helping to protect crops and maximize yield potential.

Uses

• It is used to protect a wide range of crops, including grapes, strawberries, tomatoes, potatoes, and ornamentals, from fungal diseases that can cause significant yield losses and quality deterioration. It is particularly effective against Botrytis and Alternaria.
• Switch® 62.5WG can be used preventatively to protect crops from potential disease outbreaks, as well as curatively to control existing infections. Early detection and application are essential for maximizing efficacy against fungal diseases.
• This fungicide can be integrated into an IDM program to manage fungal diseases while minimizing environmental impact and preserving beneficial organisms. It is compatible with other disease control methods, such as cultural practices and biological control agents.
• It can also be used as a post-harvest treatment to protect harvested fruits and vegetables from post-harvest diseases during storage and transportation. It helps extend shelf life and maintain product quality.

Application

• Follow the recommended dosage and dilution rate specified on the product label based on the target crop, disease severity, and application method. Use calibrated equipment to ensure accurate application rates.
• Prepare a suspension of Switch® 62.5WG by thoroughly mixing the required amount of granules with water in a sprayer tank. Apply the suspension as a fine spray to cover all plant surfaces thoroughly, including the undersides of leaves.
• Apply Switch® 62.5WG preventatively before the onset of disease or curatively at the first sign of infection. Follow the recommended application schedule based on crop growth stage, disease pressure, and environmental conditions.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, goggles, and protective clothing, when handling and applying Switch® 62.5WG to minimize exposure and ensure safe application. Avoid inhalation or skin contact with the product.

Storage

• Store it in its original tightly sealed container to prevent moisture absorption and maintain product integrity. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use and store it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
• Avoid storing the product in extreme temperatures, as exposure to high heat or freezing temperatures can degrade its stability and effectiveness. Maintain storage temperatures within the recommended range specified on the product label.
• Keep it out of reach of children, pets, and unauthorized users to prevent accidental ingestion or misuse. Store it in a secure location with restricted access and proper labeling to ensure safe handling and storage.
• Store it away from food, feed, seed, and other agricultural inputs to prevent cross-contamination. Keep it segregated from incompatible chemicals and materials to avoid potential reactions or hazards.
