Description
Top 2299 (Zippy)
Top 2299, also known as Zippy, is a hybrid tomato variety bred for its excellent yield potential and disease resistance.
Produces medium to large-sized tomatoes, making it suitable for various culinary uses.
Typically, round or slightly oval, with a smooth skin.
It matures relatively early to mid-season, allowing for a consistent harvest once the plants are established.
Top 2299 is bred to resist common tomato diseases such as Verticillium wilt (V), Fusarium wilt (F), and nematodes (N), which helps in maintaining plant health and productivity.
Adaptability: It is suitable for both greenhouse and open-field cultivation, offering flexibility in production methods.
Ideal for fresh consumption in salads, sandwiches, and as a slicing tomato due to its size and flavor.
Can be processed into sauces, salsas, and canned tomatoes due to its meaty texture and good flavor profile.
