CHARIOT® 500SC
Carbendazim, a systemic fungicide from the benzimidazole class, is well known for its effectiveness in controlling different types of fungi. It works by stopping the growth of fungi, potentially by disrupting spindle formation in mitosis.

Rate: Foliar spray 0.5 L/ha in 1000 liters of water (0.5 ml per liter of water).
Instructions: Apply during favorable weather conditions for disease development or at the onset of disease, at intervals of 7-14 days.
PHI: French bean and tomato – 14 days, rice – 20 days.
French Beans:
Diseases: Botrytis, Angular leaf spot
Rate: Foliar spray 0.75 L in 1000 liters of water (0.75 ml per liter of water).
Tomato:
Disease: Early blight
Rice:
Disease: Rice blast
Rate: Foliar spray 1 L/ha in 200 liters of water (5 ml per liter of water).
Uses
Fill the tank with water up to half its capacity. Add the necessary amount of CHARIOT® 500SC and top up with water to the desired level. Ensure thorough mixing by agitation.
Application
- Apply CHARIOT® 500SC as a foliar spray, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the crop foliage for optimal results.
- For curative purposes, commence CHARIOT® 500SC application upon the initial appearance of disease symptoms. For preventive measures, apply when weather conditions are conducive to disease development.
- CHARIOT® 500SC is compatible with commonly used pesticides and foliar fertilizers. However, it’s advisable to conduct a physical compatibility test before mixing or applying over large areas.
Storage
- When used as directed, CHARIOT® 500SC does not induce phytotoxic effects.
- Repeated use of CHARIOT® 500SC alone over an extended period may promote the development of resistant fungal strains. Hence, it’s recommended to alternate its use with other fungicides possessing different modes of action.
