Orius 25 EW is a versatile and powerful foliar systemic fungicide used  for the effective control of a wide range of diseases, including net blotch, ring spot, and rust. It is particularly effective on barley, wheat, cabbages, and French beans. The active ingredient, tebuconazole, belongs to the triazole family of fungicides and functions as a sterol demethylation inhibitor, ensuring thorough and lasting protection against fungal pathogens.

Tebuconazole inhibits sterol demethylation, a critical process in fungal cell membrane synthesis. By disrupting this process, tebuconazole effectively prevents fungal growth and spore germination.

Once applied, tebuconazole penetrates the plant tissues and is evenly distributed throughout the leaves, providing comprehensive protection from within.

Recommended Crops and Application Rates

• Timing: Begin application when disease signs are first observed and when the disease is actively establishing. Repeat every 3-4 weeks depending on disease pressure and weather conditions.

2. Barley

• Application Rate: 0.75 L/Ha or 75 ml/20 L of water.
• Target Diseases: Net blotch and leaf rust.
• Timing: Apply at the first signs of disease, with repeat applications every 3-4 weeks as necessary based on disease and weather conditions.

3. Cabbages

• Target Diseases: Ring spot.
• Timing and Rate: Follow local guidelines for application rates. Begin treatment at the first sign of disease and repeat as needed.

4. French Beans

• Target Diseases: Rust and Helminthosporium spots.
• Timing and Rate: Apply as per local recommendations, starting at the first sign of infection and repeating as necessary.

Application

• Fill the spray tank halfway with water, add the required amount of Orius 25 EW, and then complete filling the tank while maintaining agitation to ensure an even mixture.
• Orius 25 EW is compatible with most commonly used insecticides, fungicides, foliar fertilizers, and adjuvants, except strongly alkaline compounds.
• Use standard foliar application methods ensuring thorough coverage of all plant surfaces. For optimal results, use a fine mist spray to achieve even distribution.
• Apply at the first signs of disease and repeat every 3-4 weeks, adjusting based on disease pressure and environmental conditions.
