Ranger® 480EC
Chlorpyrifos, belonging to the organophosphate class, functions by inhibiting an enzyme crucial for transmitting signals between nerve cells. This inhibition disrupts normal nervous system communication, leading to a breakdown in nervous system function and ultimately causing the death of the pest.
HOW TO USE
- Rose
- Used on Aphids, Thrips, Whiteflies
- 5-2 L/ha in 1000 liters of water
- 5-2 ml per liter of water
- Apply at the first indication of pest presence.
- Conduct a sensitivity test on a few plants, especially roses.
- Reapply every 7-14 days, up to a maximum of three times per season.
- Coffee
- Used on Thrips, Berry borer, Antestia bugs
- 2 L/ha in 1000 liters of water
- 2 ml per liter of water
- Apply at the initial sign of pest attack and repeat as needed.
- Ensure the plant is thoroughly wetted.
- Reapply every 7-14 days, up to a maximum of three times per season.
- Pre-Harvest Interval 21 days
- Building Construction
- Used on Termites on wood
- 3 ml per liter of water
- Spray the construction wood and surrounding soil thoroughly.
- Fruit Trees
- 10-20 ml per liter of water
- Drench the base of the tree followed by sufficient irrigation, based on the severity of termite infestation.
Application
RANGER® 480EC can be applied as a direct spray or soil drench, particularly for termite control. Ensure thorough coverage of crop foliage and construction wood.
Apply RANGER® 480EC at the first sign of infestation or during peak insect egg hatch periods. Reapply every 7-14 days based on regular monitoring.
Fill the spray tank halfway with the required amount of water. Add the necessary amount of RANGER® 480EC and then fill the tank to the required level. Agitate thoroughly to ensure proper mixing. Use the spray mixture on the day it is prepared.
Compatibility
RANGER® 480EC is compatible with most common pesticides and liquid fertilizers. However, it is advisable to conduct a compatibility test before mixing commercial quantities or spraying large areas.
RANGER® 480EC is non-phytotoxic when applied as recommended.
Do not enter treated areas for 24 hours after application. If early entry is required, wear appropriate protective clothing.
